The land use prior to mining was mainly rangeland with some <br />cropland acreage occurring in the N and Md areas of the proposed permit <br />area. Tnese land uses are intended to be rctastated after mining. :7e will <br />reestablish an equal amount of cropland on state lands as existed prior to <br />di8turbance, but the actual boundaries may vary because of regrading pro- <br />cedures. <br />A deadline of June 15, 1980 is set for completion of the permit <br />application, and it is essential that your response be incorporated into <br />it.
