Overburden will be used only to the extent that it is neces-
sary to maintain gradients within the recommended limits.
2. Maximun gradients of 3:1 will be maintained except five Peet
above and 10 Peet below the waterline oP the pond at which point
they will 2:1.
3. Topsoil will be placed 6" to 8" thick over the area to be
reseeded. Adequate amounts of topsoil will be generated Por
additional thicknesses, however the poor qualitiy of the soil,
the lack oP irrigation water and the shallow rooted nature of the
sp_~ s_to be planted do not warrent it.
4. Reseeding must be done in early spring or preferably in late
Pall due to the lack oP supplemental water. We have had moderate
success on adjacent property with discing the ground and drilling
the grass seed. No Fertilizer is anticipated.
5. The following mixture oP seed has previously been approved
Por revegetation:
Tall Wheat Grass 4.0 lbs. Pure Live Seed per acre
Western Wheatgrass 4.0
Alkali Sacaton 1/2
Yellow Sweet Clover 1/2
8
