It formed <br /> in calcareou, loamy alluvium. Ty pically, the surface layer is <br /> clay loam about 14 inches thick. The underlying material is <br /> stratified loam, silty clay loam, and sandy loam to a depth of <br /> 691 inches or more. Permeability is moderately slow and <br /> available water capacity is moder ate. Effective rooting depth <br /> is 691 inches or more. Runoff is slow and the hazard of water <br /> erosion is moderate. The hazard of soil b4owing is high.
