• -21- Exhibit F (1 of 13) <br />GRAVEL MINING LEASE ~ <br />~~~ <br />THIS GRAVEL MII~IING LEASE made and entered into this ~~day of <br />1990, by and behveen Quarter Circle L.T. Inc., hereinafter <br />referred to as the Owner, and the Board of County Commissioners of Kiowa County, a Political <br />Subdivision of the State of Colorado, hereinafter referred to as the Lessee; <br />PITI'NESSETH: <br />P/HEREAS, the Owner desires to lease certain property to the Lcsscc for the sole and <br />only purposes of mining gravel and other related substances, and for conducting all operations as <br />may be convenient or necessary for the mining and removal of gravel and related substances, <br />including, but not limited to the constructions of roads, excavation of gravel pits, reclaiming the <br />same, and doing all things as may now be or hereafter become necessary [o comply with the laws, <br />rules and regulations of the State of Colorado, and the United States of America; and the Lessee <br />desires to lease certain property for the Owner for the above stated purposes; <br />NOW, TI-Q'•REPORE, in consideration of the rents, royalties, covenants, terms, conditions, <br />warranties and agreement herein set forth, it is hereby agreed as follu~ss: <br />f. GRANT OF LEASE <br />1.1 For and in consideration of one dollar ($].00) and other valuable considerations paid <br />by the Lessee to the Owner, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, the Ou•ner hereby <br />demises, leis and grants to Lessee, a lease on the following described properly: <br />9.7 acres within: <br />yV 1/2 NE 1/4 SE 1/4, and W 1/2 SE 1/'1 SE 1/d of Section S, Township 1S South, <br />Range 53 1Vest of the 6th P.i`I. In Kiowa County, Colorado. <br />hereinafter referred to as the Leased Premises. <br />1.2 Such lease shall be for the purpose only of mining gravel and other related suhstm~ces <br />and for conducting all operations as may be convenient or necessary for the mining and removal <br />of gravel and related substances, including, but no[ limited to, the construction of roads, excavation <br />of gravel pits, reclamation of the same, and doing all things as may now be ur hereinafter become <br />necessary to comply with the laws, rules and regulations of the Slate of Colorado, in the United <br />States of America, or any other governmental subdivision. <br />1.3 Owner warrants to Lessee that it is the tee owner of the Leased Premises or that it <br />has the right to lease said Leased Premises to the Lessee. <br />1 <br />
