-11-
EXHIBIT C •
MINING PLAN
Mining will comme~ce in January, 1991 and will continue indefinitely.
According o 1 Conservation Service and Division of Wildlife we are going to
mine sand barges out of the creek bed. They, and the landowner, agree that the
standing u~aEe is the best solution, therefore, there will not be any top soil
or overburden to be removed. When the water runs in the creek it will just fill
the sandbarge anyway.
The thickness of the deposit to be mined will be from three (3) feet to six (6)
feet.
We are going to push the sand barge to the edge of the stream bed with a bulldozer,
then use loader to load the trucks. There will not be any siQ_nificant disturbance
to the land surface.
There is a trail road leading into pit which is in fair shape.
There will be no water used in conjunction with this mining operation.
The mining operation will not affect the quantity or quality of water if encountered.
There will be no processing on site of the mine other than loading the gravel on
the trucks with a front end loader.
Mining will be done from North back to South.
