Hater Quality Control Act - 9 <br />Title 25, Article S <br />(4) The cam~ission shall coordinate and cooperate with the state engineer, <br />the Colorado water conservation board, the oil and gas armdssion, the state <br />board of health, and other state agencies having regulatory posers in order to <br />avoid adopting control regulations that would be either redundant or unnecessary. <br />25-8-206. IAIDIVDJUAL S1;IPAGE DISPOSAL SYSTDd. Upon the request of any <br />person, the caunission shall review the adequacy of local governmental regu- <br />lations far individual sewage disposal systems that are applicable in any portion <br />of the state in which the soil, geological conditions, or other factors indicate <br />that unregulated outflow fx'orn one or more individual sewage disposal systems <br />would'or might pollute the waters of the state. After such review and upon any <br />finding of inadequacy, the cormiission shall promulgate a control regulation for <br />the area involved which shall identify such area by legal description and shall <br />also specify the terms and conditions for individual sewage disposal systems <br />construction, use, design, maintenance, spacing, and location that shall be <br />applicable in such area. <br />25-8-207. AiDITICNAL AUTHORITY Of' THE COA4dISSICN. (1) In addition to <br />the powers and duties of the camiission specified elsewhere, the cannission has <br />power to: <br />(a) Accept and supervise the administration of loans and grants from the <br />federal government and fran other public sources, which loans and grants shall <br />not be expended for other than the purposes for which provided. <br />(b) Advise, consult, cooperate, and enter into agreements with other <br />agencies of the state, the federal government, and other states, and with groups, <br />political subdivisions, and industries affected by the provisions of this article <br />and the policies of the commission, but any such agreanent involving authorizing, <br />or requiring compliance in this state with any water quality standard or control <br />regulation shall not be effective unless or until the cannission has held a <br />hearing with respect to such standard or regulation and has adapted the same in <br />compliance with section 25-8102. <br />(c) Exercise all incidental pavers necessary or proper for the carrying <br />out of the purposes of the article including the posers to issue and enforce <br />rules and orders, but the commission shall not act as an appellate body to review <br />determu nations of the division. <br />25-8-208. PRIGR ACTS VALIDATID. All acts, hearings, orders, rules, regu- <br />lations, and standards adopted by the water pollution control camussion as <br />constituted and empowered by the laws of this state prior to July 1, 1973, shall <br />be deemed and held to be legal and valid in all respects, as though issued by <br />the cormiission under the authority of this article, and no provision of this <br />article shall be construed to repeal or in any way invalidate any actions, orders. <br />rules, regulations, or water quality standards adopted by said ccmnission prior <br />to July 6, 1973. <br />PART 3 <br />• ADMINISIRATICN <br />25-8-301.
