• <br />Dorchester Coal Company operates an underground mine located in <br />Fremont County. Colorado. processing rastes which require <br />disposal are produced in conjunction rith this mining operation. <br />1-t the present time, these coal processing rastes or refuse are <br />being placed in an area southrest of the mine office, shorn on <br />Figure 1. <br />Rocky Mountain Ceotechnical vas requested by Dorchester Coal <br />Company to revier present raste disposal operations, conduct <br />• subsurface investigations of the existing refuse pile and perform <br />the necessary laboratory tests to prepare an optimized storage <br />plan for the non-impounding refuse disposal facility.
