5) CWI will continue to cooperate with local water users to improve <br />water transportation systems on a case-by-case basis. An improve- <br />ment in the transportation system for water can increase the usable <br />flow. In this way, even potentially immeasurable water losses can <br />be mitigated in advance. If as expected no impacts result fran <br />mining, improved water conveyance systems will permit better use of <br />the surrounding area. CWI will consult with the F~gulatory Agencies <br />on these case-by-case improvements. <br />6) keplaoement water could be delivered, if necessary. 'Ib demonstrate <br />the legal and physical means of possible water replacement, CWI is <br />submitting a list of all water riyhts owned by CWI in the drainage <br />basins. CWI will furnish water replacement flows with quality <br />that meets or exceeds replaced Q ow quality. The majority of flows <br />within the permit area are adjudicated for irrigation. Irrigation <br />water would be used as a possible replacement. ~Yavity-controlled <br />flows would be utilized, if possible. <br />7) Finally, other means available for protecting the rights of water <br />users should be continually considered.
