(Steve O'brian)after a visit to the <br />site and verbal explanation by Mr. O'brian of the proposed m;n;nq <br />operation. Those c~~*+ts aze attached and we have included <br />additional wildlife impact comments after having obtained the <br />written proposal from your office. <br />This project proposal lies adjacent to approximately 3 miles of the <br />South Platte River corridor. The river bottom consists of <br />cottonwood-willow, lowland ripazian habitat, providing an atr +1. *±~a*+t <br />sad diverse wildlife resource. Sc~e of these include Morning Dove, <br />Ducks, Canada Geese, Herons, 9ongbirda, Raptors (including Sald <br />Eagle and Great Horned Owl), Rio Grande Turkey, Fiah, Reptiles, <br />Amphibians, White-tail deer, Mule deer, Coyote, Muskrat, Beaver, <br />Striped Skunk and raccoon.
