<br />In the event that d is deemed necessary to conduct blasting operations outside of the areas specified, a <br />new blasting notice will be published in the same manner as indicated previously. <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Schedule: <br />Mining Inc. intends to conduct blasting operations during the one-year period <br />(year) at its Trapper Mine, surtace coal operations, in Moffat County, Colorado. <br />blasting program will be conducted within the follow6rg areas: <br />Ashmore Pit - (Legal description) <br />Dertinger Pit -(Legal description) <br />Hawken PR - (Legal description) <br />Flintlock Pil -(Legal description) <br />blasting program will be conducted daily between sunrise and sunset. <br /> <br />ad'rve blast patterns will be identified by orange cones and/or 30" red and white octagonal sign <br />fng "Keep Out -Stop -Blasting Area." In addition, guards will be placed at all major roadways the <br />ess the blast area at least 10 minutes prior to detonation antl remain in place until the all-clear signal. <br />he audible warnings prior to all blasts will be: <br />Five (5) long siren signals at 5 minutes. <br />Twenty (20) short siren signals at 3 minutes. <br />Steady electric siren at 2 minutes. <br />Tone-change etedrfc siren at 30 seconds. <br />The all-clear signal will be one (1) long siren of 20 seconds in duration. <br />Bible emergency situations may require that blasts be conducted at other than daylight hours, sr <br />1) elimination of misfires, 2) adverse weather conditions, 3) equipment failures or shutdowns, <br />tv-related reasons. <br />rpper Mining Inc.'s general office is located at mine headquarters 6 1/2 miles south of Craig, Colorado, <br />State Highway 13.
