Therefore, reclamation of these sites will not <br />be attempted until after the area has been mined and the ongoing reclamation operations are con- <br />ducted for the entire area. <br />3.3.2.2 Drill Sites In Areas Where Topsoil Has Been Salvaged <br />Development drilling sties wkhln the areas where topsoil has been salvaged In advance of mining <br />activities will not require special considerations for road construction or topsoil removal. These holes <br />will be sealed however, In accordance wkh Figure 3.3.1A or 3.3.1 B H they enter an aquifer. In all other <br />Instances, the top of the holes will be plugged wkh drill cuttings. These sties will be reclaimed otter <br />mining as a part of the normal reclamation work. <br />3.3.2.3 Areas not to be Drilled Within the Pernik Boundary <br />To protect unleased federal coal resources within the permk boundary, development drilling will not <br />be conducted In these areas. An exploration permit will be obtained prior to drilling these areas. The <br />areas that apply are: <br />a) No drilling below the'Q' coal seam under Lease C-25948. <br />b) No drilling In TSN, R91 W, 6th PM; Secilon 1, Lots 17,18,19. <br />c) No drilling In TBN, R90W, 6th PM, Section 30, Lots 15,16,17,18. <br />3.3.2.4 Suitable Materials for Abandoned Drill Holes <br />Suitable materials for drill hole abandonment Include cement, concrete, bentonke products (quick <br />gel, shur gel, or other appropriate bentonke slurries), cutting or other appropriate materials as <br />approved by the Division. <br />REVISION <br />APPROVED <br />3-27 DATE ?
