fiJdv~c~Lesx~ ~7dlo ~~~-~~..
~~~~~
~~.~oa©3
III iiillllllillllll
R~cF~VE~
WE `I`IIE UNDERSINGED, would like to go on record and legally we wafit~815 ZOO?
to request that you REFUSE Rio Grande Cement any permits to buikprm,'sronut
cement plant in the area of 3 miles South of Pueblo, on Lime Road. The M'nera/Sandcaa,Q
undersigned reside within 1.5 miles of the proposed location. sr
We ask that Rio Grand be refused permits because we have lived in this area
for 47 years and have a right to our clean air and object to polluted air that
will take our health and lives. Remember, we Live here, you don't.
Our domestic and irrigation water is derived from the St. Charles River,
which will be polluted, fractured, and trashed. There is every kind of wild
animal and domestic animal in this area that require air, water and clean
grass.
We object to the blasting, the devastation of the foundations of our home and
buildings not to mention our nerves.
We object to the truck traffic that will be on our road.
Colorado has an abundance of lime stone deposits. This company can go
somewhere people do not live, not on a river that drains into the Arkansas
River aquafer for that supplies water to towns east of Pueblo to the Colorado
border, on through Kansas.
If you lower the quality of air -water -traffic- and noise, you lower the
quality of life for the plants, animals. and people. Please do not grant a
Mining Permit to Rio Grande, the benefits certainly is minor compared to the
devastation to the Pueblo area.
We ask sincere consideration,
_ ~~~ ~~~
Leoss Cecil Ross
Address: 2990 Lime Road South, Pueblo, Colorado 81004
a-~ D.t,
