Colowyo G-1981-019
3 October 2005
Pg 2/ 2
After we visited the initial box-cut area we drove through the proposed disturbance
area. Due to the rain and very muddy, slippery road conditions, it was difficult to see
much more of the site at that time. We ended up our tour on the west side of the
proposed disturbance boundary in the Collom Creek drainage. Colowyo is not
proposing any pits in the Collom creek drainage.
This concluded our very wet and abbreviated visit to the site. On 4 October 2005 a
second field trip was scheduled to visit areas that were being studied as possible
AVF's. i was unable to attend this trip but Sandy Brown and Dan Mathews of CDMG
did attend. Their comments are included in the aforementioned. letter to Tay Tonoai.
I will probably conduct additional field visits to the site, as weather permits. These
trips (if they occur) will be documented in future inspection reports.
