• <br />As the refuse pile expands, earlier portions will be covered, fertilized <br />and seeded. The amount of non-combustible material and topsoil placed on the <br />refuse will be determined from tests of the acid-forming and toxic-forming <br />characteristics of the refuse. The reclamation of the site will be an on- <br />going process during the life of the mine and the likelihood of an impact will <br />become negligable as the reserves are depleted and the entire amount of refuse <br />has been reclaimed. <br />• <br /> <br />557 <br />
