<br />Cuartelejo HP Associates lrrc., in conjunction with RMC Consultants, Inc., of Lakewood, completed a
<br />survey of Camp Amache; a World War IIJapanese/Japanese-American internment camp neaz Granada,
<br />during July and August 2003 for the Town of Granada and the State Historical Fund.
<br />Richazd is a member of the Society for Historical Archaeology, Colorado Archaeological Society,
<br />Colorado Council of Professional Archaeologists (past boazd member); Colorado Preservation, Inc. (board
<br />member 1998-2001); Past-President (2002-2003), Bent's Fort Chapter, Santa Fe Trail Association; Pioneer
<br />Historical Society of Bent County (past boazd member), and in 2001 served on the Penrose House Advisory
<br />Boazd for El Pomar Foundation. He was recently reappointed to serve a new four-yeaz term as a non-
<br />attomeymember of the Judicial Performance Commission for the Sixteenth Judicial District. On May 30,
<br />2001 he was appointed by Governor Bill Owens to the Colorado Historic Preservation Review Boazd. The
<br />appointment was'recently renewed in 2003 for a second term.
