<br />EXHIBIT G -WATER INFORMATION <br />(a) Locate on the map (Exhibit ~ trib:rtaty water courses, wells, springs, stock water ponds, <br />reservoirs and ditches <br />This operation is expected to directly affect surface water systems. Please see Exhibit C for <br />location of the: <br />South Platte River <br />Thompson and Platte Ditch <br />(b) Identify al/ known ayui(ers <br />The South Platte River alluvial aquifer is under this property. Refer to Exhibit G-1 for a list of <br />adjacent wells and well owners within 600'. The Existing Conditions Map shows the locations <br />of these wells. <br />(c) Show how waterfrom dewatering operations or nrnoffjrom disturbed areas, piled nmterial and <br />operating surfaces will be managed to protect against pollution of either srtrface or groundwater <br />both during and alter the operation <br />Water from the initial dewatering operation and runoff from disturbed areas, piled material and <br />operating surfaces will be likely be diverted to the wash pond for detention and cleansing. The <br />resulting outfall will flow into the South Platte River pursuant to a Colorado Department of <br />Public Health and Environment discharge (CDPS) permit. <br />(d) Estittrate project water requirements inclrtditrgJlow rases and annual volrtmes for the <br />development, mining and reclamation phases ojthe project. <br />Please refer to the attached tables for projected water requirements. We are finalizing a <br />temporary substitute supply plan (tssp) for submittal to the Office of the State Engineer. We can <br />forward a copy of this plan to the DMG upon request. <br />(e) /ndica[e the projected amounts of the water sources to supply project water reyuiremer:ts <br />The operator will use groundwater to supply operational water requirements. It is anticipated <br />that Big Thompson and South Platte Ditch water will be used to supply reclamation <br />requirements.
