<br />(d) The size of area to be worked at any one time <br />Initially, the perimeter of the site will be disturbed to install the slurry trench and dewatering <br />trench. Aggregate will mine the site in pods to minimize the amount of land disturbed at any <br />one time. A pod may range in size from 8 to 40 acres. <br />(e) An approcimale timetable to describe the mining operation. The timetable is for the purpose of <br />establishing the relationship behveen mining and reclamation during the di ferent phases of a <br />mining operation. <br />The site will be mined and reclaimed concurrently. Please see the Mining Plan Map (Exhibit C) <br />for the mining sequence. Please refer to Exhibit E -Reclamation Plan, section (e)(i) for timing <br />information. <br />(n Use Mining Plan Map in cor junction with narrative to present.• <br />(i) nat:~re, depth and thickness of the deposit and thickness and type of overburden to be removed <br />The depth of overburden varies from 4' to 6'. The depth of the sand and gravel deposit varies <br />from 39' to 58'. <br />(ii) nature of the stratum immediately beneath the material to be mined irr sedimentary deposits <br />The area underlying the bedrock in this area is the Laramie formation which is approximately <br />4,400 feet thick at the location of this proposed mining activity. <br />(g) Identifi~ the primary and secondary commodities to be mined/extracted and describe the intended <br />use <br />The primary commodity to be mined extracted is sand and gravel. The intended use is for <br />construction materials. <br />(h) Name and describe the intended use ojall expected inciden[a! products to be mined/extracted by <br />the proposed operation <br />The secondary commodity that may be extracted is gold.
