<br />' ticketing. <br />Diesel fuel for the dozer, loader and screening, plant will be transported to the site daily or as needed <br />by means of a service wck. Equipment will be refueled and serviced at which time the service wck <br />will leave the premises. Flammable or combustible materials such as diesel, gasoline or petroleum <br />solvents will not be stored on the site. <br />1 The applicant will implement dust abatement procedures to include a water wck available at the site <br />to be used on all pit access roads. The screening equipmem includes a fog or water spray bar to <br />' minimize dust produced by the screening process. Some noise will occur at the site due ro the Ha[[[re <br />of the mining operation and screening, however this should cause no adverse impacts due ro the <br />remote location of the site with respect to adjacent landowners and residences. Depending on marks[ <br />' demand of the mined material, haul traffic will be expected to generate a daily average of fifteen <br />wcking operations. These will occur randomly during operation hours. <br />No installation of utility or phone services is needed. Communications within and without the mining <br />operation shall be by two-way radio to the office of the operator. This will provide access to a phone <br />for required emergency services. An alternative means of contacting emergency services is by phone <br />' located at the Dellacroce Ranch residence, immediately east and north of the site, on Baptist Road. <br />The following emergency services are available for the pit operations: <br />' EI Paso County Sheriff (719) 390-5555 or 911 <br />Emergency Medical 911 <br />Fire DepatUnent 911 (Woodmoor-Monumem FPD) <br />Security improvements will consist of a 3 strand bathed win; fence along the site boundary, locking <br />mechanical gates and cattle guards at the intersection of the access road with Baptist Road. All gates <br />will be maintained and secured by the operator and opened only doting normal wotk hoots when haul <br />woks ate anticipated. The permitted area will be posted with sigtu indicating pit owner infomtation <br />according to mined land reclamation Hiles and regulations. Additional signage will be posted by the <br />' county at the road intersection points advising motorist of wcks entering Baptist Road, <br />Public comment about hauling and mining issues may be addressed to the permit owner by writing <br />' Mr, Raymond Dellacroce, 17 East Arvada St., Colorado Springs, CO 80906, telephone (7l9) 634- <br />4155. Public comment may also be channelled through the appropriate county or state official, To <br />assist this procedure, all haul units shall have the operators game visibly displayed on the unit. The <br />' pit shall be posted according to Mined Land Reclamation Rules and Regulations identifying the name <br />of the pit operator and the permit number. <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br /> <br />' D-3 <br />
