<br />EXHIBIT I-1 - Scils Infor.;,ation <br />There are four sails types within the "Gravel Zcne" of the <br />affected area of the Villard Pit #2. (See Exhibit C-3) Soils Unit <br />#33D is situated alcaq the northern pcrticn of the prc~ect. It is <br />the Pinelli loam 3 to 12 percent slopes. This very deep, well <br />drained soil is typically an benches and alluvial fans. This <br />will be Moffat County's primary target zone for sand and gravel. <br />(See Exhibit I-2) <br />The seccr.dary soils type that Moffat County will mine into <br />is the Bulkley stony loam, 15 to 30 percent slopes, very stony, <br />deep and well drained. (See Exhibit I-3) <br />A third soils type will be the Hers.-Fughes complex with 10 <br />to 20 percent slopes, extremely bouldery, deep and well drained. <br />(See Exhibit I-4). <br />Other sails types on the property that may be affected by <br />disturbance are 2 types of the Morapos loam. (See Exhibit C-3: <br />types 17D and 17E) Type 17D has 3 to 12 percent slopes an3 17E <br />has 12 to 25 percent slopes. They are very deep, well drained <br />soils with slew permeability.
