THE SOURCE TO WHICH THIS PERMIT APPLIES IS DESCRIBED AND LOCATED AS
FOLLOWS:
~•Coal railroad loadout facility (Santa Fe loadout ~1 and q2)
located at the railroad yard, west of Linden Street between
AT & SF and C 8 S Tracks, Trinidad, Las Animas County,
Colorado.
THE SPECIFIC EQUIPMENT OR ACTIVITY SUBJECT TO THIS PERMIT INCLUDES THE
FOLLOWING:
Operation of coal railroad loadout facilities to include
utilization of coal hopper, feeders, conveyors, loaders,
and rail car loading equipment. Also, to include coal
truck hauling and road maintenance activities.
THIS PERMIT IS GRANTED SUBJECT TO ALL RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE
COLORADO AIR QUALITY CONTROL COMMISSION AND THE COLORADO AIR QUALITY
CONTROL ACT C.R.S. 1973 (257-101 et ~.), TO THOSE GENERAL TERMS AND
CONDITIONS SET FORTH ON THE REVERSE SIDE OF THIS DOCUMENT AND THE
FOLLOWING SPECIFIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
1. The fugitive dust control measures listed on the attached page (as proposed
in the Fugitive Dust Control Plan submitted to the Division) shall be
applied to the dust producing sources as required by Regulation No. 1.
2. (a) Combined coal handling rate of Santa Fe loadout N1 and d2 shall not
exceed the following limitations: 1850 tons/day and 259,000 tons/year.
(b) Coal handling rate of Santa Fe loadout b2 (C-12,099FD) shall be
• limited to 350 tons/day and 50,000 tons/year. A loading rate of
1,000 tons/day up to 50,000 tons/year (as requested) shall be
permissible only if Santa Fe loadout N1 facility is not operating
at the same time.
