<br />THIS AGREEMENT, Made and entered into this ~~ day
<br />of March, 1978 by and betveen Norma Xnoules, a married voman,
<br />hereinafter called Lhe "LESSOR" and the H-E Loudermilk Company,
<br />hereinafter called the "LESSEE") •
<br />WITNESSETH:
<br />1. LESSOR, for and in consideration oP the sum oP
<br />in hand paid, the receipt, adequacy, and
<br />sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, and in con_id-
<br />eration of the covenants herein to be performed by LESSEE,
<br />does hereby grant, lease, demise, end let exclusively unto
<br />LESSEE, for the purpose of investigating, exploring, pros-
<br />pecting, drilling, mining. producing, transporting, and mar-
<br />. keting coal end other solid minerals, LESSOR'S 1/COth int=rest
<br />' in the minerals in the following described lands, together
<br />vith all appurtenances including ingress and egress, to-vit:
<br />South half of the southeast quarter of Section 7
<br />and the north half of the northeast quarter of
<br />Section 1B, Township 9 North, Range 7B West in
<br />. Jackson County, Colorado
<br />• containing 160 acres, more or less, hereinafter ca]led the
<br />°L eased Premises°, together with all coal and other solid
<br />minerals lying or being in, under, or upon the Leased Prem-
<br />' ices together with the exclusive right, povar, and authority
<br />to cxplere for and chine, produce, process, and re-,cue c~~l and
<br />• other solid minerals from the Leased Prenises by any method
<br />deemed desireable by LESSEE and to pile up overburden rer.,oved
<br />in stripping such coal beds or other solid minerals, cr in
<br />sinking shafts, and to construct, erect, and maintain on the
<br />Loaned Premises such buildings, shafts, roads, wails, railroad
<br />tracks, shops. reservoirs, ditches, povar lines, and all other
<br />necessary structures and improvements in, over, across, or
<br />under the Leased Premises and from time to time to relocate
