Vegetation found in this inventory <br />is mainly native grasses such as blue grama, western wheatgrass, red <br />threeawn, sideoats grama, bottlebrush squirreltail, ring muhly, and sand <br />dropseed. The forbs found in this inventory were mainly kochia, Russian <br />thistle, senecio, scarlet globemallow, threadleaf groundsel, winterfat, <br />and other native forbs. Shrubs found in this inventory were Bigelow <br />sagebrush, fourwing salt6ush, yucca, cholla, rabbitbrush, t~room <br />snakeweed, and plains pricklypear. The only tree species found on this <br />site were Juniper, and pinyon pine. There were some tamarisk growing in <br />depressions at the edge of the disturbed area. This site was mapped as <br />being in the Gravel Breaks range site with inclusions of Loamy Plains on <br />the flatter tops. The range site is in good condition. <br />POTENTIAL VEGETATION: In good condition the potential plant community <br />for this site is mainly western wheatgrass, blue grama, green <br />needlegrass, needle-and-thread, sideoats grama, little bluestem, Indian <br />ricegrass, and sand dropseed. Some forbs native to this site are <br />curlycup gumweed, hairy goldaster, scarlet globe mallow, and dotted <br />gayfeather. The native shrubs are rabbitbrush, broom snakeweed, soapweed <br />yucca, cholla, pricklypear, and fourwing saltbush. <br />NOXIOUS WEEDS: No noxious weeds were found on this site at the time of <br />the inventory and evaluation. <br />VEGETATION PLAN: See the CO-ECS-5 Grass Seeding Plan for my <br />recommendation. <br />OTHER REMARKS: Should noxious weeds be found on the site during <br />reclamation or before, the producer should take steps immediately <br />towards control.
