Dept. of Natural Resources <br />Denver, CO 80203 <br />Dear Mr. Shelton: <br />Enclosed are four copies of the Regular Mining Permit for the Pilot Plant <br />phase of Industrial R~asources, Inc.'s (IRI) nahcolite solution mine in Rio <br />Blanco County, Colorado. This permit application has been prepared <br />consistent with Rule 7_ of the Mined Land Reclamation Board regulations. A <br />check for $620 to cover the filing fee has also been enclosed. <br />In reviewing this permit, please note that Exhibit D (Mine Plan) is <br />considered CONFIDENTIAL by IRI, and I respectfully request that it be <br />handled accordingly. An abbreviated mine plan with the confidential items <br />deleted will be submitted within the next week, This abbreviated mine plan <br />can be used, as applicable, for review by the public. <br />Once again your staff has been most helpful in the preparation of this <br />application.
