Assuming a 3 1/` X rnoist~_ire content, this wo~.ild be 9.@1 acre feet. Wash waters used for the screening operations would consume 35 acre feet. The total estimated water consumption for the pro,7ect would be 49.01 acre- ' feet/year. Water Qualit_y_ ' The proposed project will indirectly discharge to the South Glatte River through another gravel operation on the west side of Prightor~ Raced. Therefore, the State Health Department will require an NGDES permit. This per•rnit should fall under the statewide permit issued far gravel operations. A copy of the permit will be forwarded when it is received. Conclusions and Recammentlations ' The following conclusions and recomrnendatirr~s ar•e offered for the water concerns of this pr•o~ect: ' 1. The proposed mining of the property will riot cause any material damage to the wells in the area. The maximum expected drop in the existing water table within ::@~~ feet of the mining would be 1 foot±, 2. Surface drainage from the property will be contained an the pr•aper•ty. Off-site drainage is historically intercepted by the Fulton Ditch and thus of no concern. G-s
