EXHIBIT E
RECLAMATION OPERATIONS
Beginning wi[h Area 1, the ridge will be removed to form an
area 10 to 15 feet in depth leaving a relatively level and flat
area at the bottom of the pit (See Exhibit B-2). Upon completion
of mining of all areas reclamation operations will begin by
placing the overburden and topsoil which was previously piled at
the sides into the pit. This material will be uniformly bladed to
an even grade, with backslopes no greater than 3:1. Hydromulch
seeding consisting of the following formula will then be applied
to the soil:
Smooth Brome Grass 4 lbs/acre
Timothy 2 lbs/acre
Orchard Grass 2 lbs/acre
Intermediate Wheatgrass 3 lbs/acre
Kentucky Bluegrass 2 lbs/acre
Big Bluegrass 2 lbs/acre
Total 15 lbs/acre
Seeding shall be applied during such seasons of the year as
to be most beneficial to permanent growth. When reclaimed, the
entire area will consist of a relatively flat, well-graded tract
with no major discontinuities with the surrounding landscape.
