Trees and shrubs will be planted as follows :
1 . 400 shrubs and 200 trees will be planted along the berm along
the South Platte River
2 . 200 shrubs and 100 trees will be planted along other periphery
l• areas around the lake area (s) .
No more than 100 of the deciduous trees may be Russian Olive, and
not more than 601 may be a Cottonwood and Willow species . The
remaining 20% or greater of the trees shall be other species of
deciduous trees such as American Plum, Western Catalpa, Green Ash,
Hackberry, Honey Locust, Russian Mulberry, Siberian Elm, or other
adapted non-cottonwood, willow, or russian olive trees . Not more
than 100 of any one type of shrubs may be utilized. Typical shrubs
which may be considered included Antelope Bitterbrush, Fourwing,
Saltbrush, Hansen Rose, Rabbit Bush, Siberian Peabush, Honeysuckle,
Skunkbush Sumac, Lilac, Snowberry, Buffaloberry, Cistena Cherry,
Manchiv Cherry, Bluestem Willow, Golden Current, Dogwood,
Multiflora Rose, and Autumn Olive . Deciduous trees shall be a
minimum 1" caliper, and shrubs will be in 5 gallon containers .
