A "composite" sample, for mom±toring requirements, is a minimum <br />of four (4) grab samples collected at equally spaced cua (2) <br />hour ineetvals sad proportioned according to floc:. <br />2. A 'grab" sample, for man coring requirements, is a single "dip <br />and take" sanole. <br />3. An "instantaneous" measurement, for monitoring requirements, is <br />a single read lag, observation, or measurement performed on site. <br />4. A "continuous" measurement, for floe monieoring requirements, is <br />a measurement obtained from an aucoaacic recording device xhich <br />continually measures f1ox. <br />5. A "visual' observation, for oil and grease monitoring <br />requirements, is observing the discharge to check for the <br />presence of a visible sheen or floating oil. <br />6.
