• 2.05.6 <br />Based upon the above calculation, the clarified mine discharge into the Fire <br />Mountain Canal will not have a measurable impact on the quality of water in <br />the river. <br />Clarified mine water discharge into the Deer Trail Ditch is not considered <br />because there is no agricultural or domestic use of the Deer Trail Ditch water <br />downstream of the point where the mine water enters the Ditch. <br />The average TDS measurement at the upstream Fire Mountain Canal <br />monitoring station for the operation period (2002 AHR) is 84 mg/I. The Fire <br />Mountain Canal does not have low flow, it either flows at its 170 cfs +/- <br />capacity or it is empty.
