<br />~~ <br />-~ <br />_~__ <br />I <br />i <br /> <br /> <br />_~ <br /> <br />• <br /> <br />145 <br />site: 5RT15 (Figs 1, 28}. <br />site Type: Open architectural. <br />Location: SW!;NWra, Sec. 12, Ton, R86w; UT14 Zone 13, E330,550m., N4,46G,525m. <br />Description: 5RT15 is an historic architectural site consisting of the re- <br />mains of one structural feature built of milled lumber. The structure is <br />4.5 by 6.5 m, in size, with a trash dump located 30 m. to the east. The <br />site elevation is 7450 ft. (2,271 m.). The nearest water is Trout Creek <br />800 m, to the east. The site is situated on the east side of a north-trend- <br />ing ridgetop. The vegetation surrounding the site consists of sage, Gamble's <br />oak, and grasses. Cultural remains visible in the immediate area of ttic <br />site include a broken sink, fragments of glass, a Montgomery Ward cream <br />separator, assorted trash, and lumber ends. No obvious disturbance is <br />visible other than a road adjacent to the site. <br />Diagnoseic Areifacts: Montgomery Ward "Royal Blue" cream separator, model <br />number 77-4. <br />evaluation: 5RT15 should be evaluated by a trained specialist in Colorado <br />history. Archival information was not collected as a part of this project. <br />However, it does not seem likely that 5RT15 will qualify for nomination to <br />the NRHP on architectural grounds. <br />
