T[dIS PERMIT is issued by the Mined Land Reclamation Board, Department of Natural Resources,
State of Colorado.
RECITALS
A. The Pernrittee, Medicine Bow - Routt National Forest, USDA Forest Service, desires to
conduct a mining operation lmown as State Line Ranch Pit, for the purpose of extracting aggregate. 'Lhe
Pemrittee will not mine any secondary wmmodities at this site.
B. On June 21, 2000 the Mined land Reclamation Board (the "Board's approved the Pemuttee's
application fior this permit and directed that this pemrit be issued upon the Sling with the Division of Minerals and
Geology (the "Division") of performance wat~attty approved by the Division. Said warranty has beat filed with
the Division.
C. If the Pemuttce desires to extract materials other than those listed in (A), a separate permit may
be required.
D. On lone 21, 2000 dre Board made the following findings:
1. The application for this permit complies with the requiremems of the Colorado Mined
Land Reclamation Act for the Extraction of Construction Materials, C.R.S. 34-32.5-101 et sue., as amended, and
with all applicable local, state and federal laws;
2. 'Lhe operation will nd adversely affect the stability of any signiScard, valuable, and
perrnanern man-made structure located wither two hundred feet of the Affected Land, except where there is an
agreemem betweer the Operator and the persons having an interest in the structure that damage to the swdure is
to be oomparsated for by the Permittee; and;
