<br />EXHIBIT D - WILDLIFE <br />• JD-6 <br />A. According to information supplied by the Colorado <br />Division of Wildlife, the major species inhabiting <br />the area surrounding JD-6 are mule deer, coyote, <br />mountain lion, bobcat, cottontail rabbits, raptors, <br />and other species of small mammals and birds. <br />B. Seasonal use of the area is restricted to winter <br />browsing by deer on the hillsides. <br />C. There are no known threatened or endangered species <br />that inhabit the area. <br />D. The Colorado Division of Wildlife has found the impact <br />on wildlife of the JD-6 mining operation to be minor, <br />most of it due to noise associated with human activity <br />and road construction. <br /> <br /> <br />
