• ~ Page 2 <br />The General Soils T~fap of Montrose County indicates the <br />JD-6 property lies within two soils associations: <br />• the Haplargids-Torriorthents-Rock outcrop association, <br />described as "warm, deep to shallow, well drained, gently <br />sloping and moderately steep soils and rock outcrop on <br />mesas, benches, and canyons", and the Torriorthents-Rock <br />outcrop association, "warm, shallow, well drained, sloping <br />to steep soils and rock outcrop on breaks and canyons". <br />An on-site inspection reveals a gravelly sandy loam to the <br />southwest, above the portal site, and a gravelly clay loam <br />in the more dense stands of pinyon-juniper to the north- <br />east below the waste dump area.
