<br />EXTRACTION STANDARDS
<br />1. Operation shall be in conformance with Weld County Open Mining
<br />Regulations, Section 6.1 (3) E (Operation Standards), (Revised
<br />6123175), and the "Colorado Open Mining Land Reclamation Act
<br />of 1973 ". Gravel Pit extractions will be a wet operation, with
<br />excavation to a depth of up to 40'3. Prime use is a commercial
<br />gravel source.
<br />2. All air and water pollution required standards shall be met and
<br />maintained, as administered by county and state agencies during
<br />all phases of the operation.
<br />3. The existing topsoil is of such low quality that it has little
<br />if any value.
<br />4. Operation of the pit will be six days per week, with 15 employees
<br />including trucks each shift. All standards as required per item
<br />2 above shall be met.
<br />5. Sanitation facilities will be provided and all refuse disposed
<br />of in a manner that will control air and water pollution or any
<br />deleterious effects from same.
<br />6. Continuous operation is proposed with the staging as noted on
<br />the drawing at left.
<br />7_ Dust end weed control will be provided and will be the responsibility
<br />of Mountain Aggregates, Inc, during operation. Owner to provide
<br />such control after operation.
<br />8. Materials will be stockpiled.
