r}_ ~ <br />. SPECIAL CONDITIONS <br />1. Topsoil, where available within area of proposed disturbance, shall be <br />stockpiled separately for later use in site reclamation. <br />2. Reclamation should include reshaping the site to approximate original <br />contour, or shaped and feathered into undisturbed areas. <br />3. A suitable vegetation harmonious with the area shall be established. Seed <br />mixture shall be comprised of Indian ricegrass (30%), western wheatgrass <br />(60%) and cicer milkvetch (10%) at a rate of 12 lbs./acre pure live seed <br />if drill seeded, or 16 lbs./acre pure live seed if broadcast seeded. <br />4. The aforementioned reclamation shall be done in the fall season, and the <br />reclamation, including regrading, spreading of topsoil, and establishment <br />of vegetative cover, shall be approved by the District Manager. <br />5. Proper drainage shall be provided to avoid areas of standing water. <br />6. There shall be no interference with natural drainage through the area and <br />excavated material shall not be placed in drainages where it might be washed <br />downstream. <br />7. Adequate warning signs at all approaches to the working out face of the <br />excavation should be posted to protect anyone in the area from falling over <br />the bank. <br />8. If the area results in a safety hazard to humans or animals, the open working <br />out face of the pit area will be fenced until such time as the site is <br />rehabilitated. <br />
