Species recowwended by the Soil Conservation Service <br />and approved, or changed, by the Division will be used. <br />Suitable straw or hay winch will bs applied to seeded areas <br />at the rats of 4,000 pounds per acre, and the winch will bs <br />mechanically anchored to the soil to stabilize the seeded areas <br />and control erosion. <br />Ths seed mixture recowwsndsd by the Soil Conservation <br />Service is shown in Exhibit H (f) and is duplicated as follows: <br />Little Blus Stsw--------------------------- 7/ per/ac __ <br />Side Oats Grama---------------------------- 9# per/ac <br />Western Wheat------------------------------ 16d ~ 0 <br />Indian Rice Grass-------------------------- 12.6 q,=, <br />Mt. Any of these can be added by cutting <br />down quantities of other varieties as long as the total weight <br />of seed spread per acre doss not exceed 45 pounds. <br />Success of revsgetation shall be wsasursd by cowparison of <br />reclaiwed and undisturbed areas by inspection based on the local <br />envirowsntal conditions.
