This seems a bit
low if the Division has to bid and hire a contractor to do the
job. Would the actual Division cost be closer to $.50/cu.yd.?
The operator will also need to add 15.8 $ indirect and
administrative costs to the total reclamation cost estimate.
6. In addressing the Division's question concerning whether the
southern water bodies can hold all of the water inflow from the
north, it is stated that the hydrologic condition of the
reclaimed pit was evaluated by numerical simulation using the
"MODFLOW" model. Please provide the data for the model for
Division review.
To adequately review your response to the adequacy review,
Division must receive the required information by February 16,
1994. If we do not receive the required information by that date,
a new date may be set for consideration of the application as
provided for under Rule 1.5(2). Also, as provided for in Rule
1.5.1 all changes and additions to the permit application must be
filed with the Division, and with the County Clerk and Recorder.
The applicant shall also provide the Division with an affidavit or
receipt demonstrating that the change was filed with the County
Clerk and Recorder no later than the close of business on the day
the change was filed with the Division. Any change or addition to
an application shall constitute an amended filing for purposes of
determining the date for the consideration of the application by
the Division, and for the deadline for the final decision on the
application. Within five (5) working days of an amended filing,
the Division shall set a new date for the consideration of the
application.
If you are unable to fully respond to this letter, providing all
required information prior to the scheduled Board consideration
date of February 23, 1994, please contact me requesting a
continuance of Board consideration to a later date.
Since ly,
William C.
