EXHIBIT B
SITE DESCRIPTION
A. VEGETATION AND SOIL

Soil is sand alluvial land typical of Big Sandy Creek terrace deposits in Lincoln County.
The property was a large chicken ranch and the structures have been removed leaving the
area as anon-reclaimed building site.
The topsoil of 0.5 feet is silty sand, CL type by Unified Soil Classification.
The soil beneath the topsoil is water borne silty-sand, A-2, which will be used for highway
fill and concrete sand.
The existing slopes have very little topsoil, less than 5 inches average, overlying the silty-sandy
material. Very little vegetation exists there, consisting of weeds, clover, with sparse clumps of
native grass.
B. STRUCTURES
There aze no permanent man-made structures within 200 feet of the site.
C. PERMIT AREA
The permit azea is more than two times lazger than the affected azea.
The permit is bounded by ranch land owned by John Craig on all sides for more then 200
feet.
D. WATER RESOURCES
Drainage water as may occur due to rainstorms will be retained on the property due to the level
topography of the mining site. All drainage will directed to the water re-use area of the permit area.
The mining area will not affect or change the water or drainage ways.
2
