Existing structures on the site property include two electrical <br />power lines. These lines are indicated on the site map, Other than <br />the power lines, no structures currently exist. <br />B. Proposed structure at this site is to be the development of an <br />eight-acre lake (see reclamation map). <br />Overall excavation is to be to a depth oP 20 Peet or approximately <br />to an elevation of 9,580 Peet. <br />A sheet depicting anticipated cross-sections is included. <br />3. 1+loodproofing Measures <br />p,. Three areas have been identified along the south property boundary <br />(that is also tl+e river bank) that need to be reinforced. These <br />areas ere indicated on the site map. <br />The proposed method to stabilize these areas is to place rubbleized <br />concrete in the subject sections. This will protect the dirt bank <br />from direct water flow in the event of high water. This placement <br />will take place above normal water line, thus eliminating the need <br />Par an Army Corps of Engineers 909 Permit. <br />H. Additionally, soil stabilization will be accomplished in the form of <br />tree plantings along the length of the property line that is <br />adjacent to the Colorado River. Trees will be planted at a minimum <br />of ]0-foot intervals. <br />9. Effects oP Development <br />A. It is not expected that the proposed development of this sike, as <br />indicated, will affect either the Pload water height, velocity, or <br />direction oP flow during a 100-year flood event. <br />There is only a smell portion oP this property that is included in <br />the ]00-year floodplain according to US Army Corps of Engineers and <br />Mesa County engineering floodplain data. The enclosed map <br />Identifies the floodplain designations. <br />B. The development of this site, as described, will not influence <br />erosion oP any downstream or adjacent properties. <br />C. NJA <br />D. No materiels will be stored in any area designated as being in the <br />100-year floodplain. <br />
