It will be mined leaving a base of 8 inches covering the bed- <br /> rock shale. A portable crusher will be brought to the mining <br /> site each year for 3 to 4 months and will be located near that <br /> year' s mining operation. Stockpiles will be located near the <br /> crusher. It is expected that about two-thirds of the product <br /> will be used for asphalt, one-third for non-asphalt purposes. <br /> Water Diversion and Impoundment <br /> No water from Boulder Creek or the Godding, Dailey and Plumb <br /> Ditch will be diverted for the mining operation. water from <br /> Ithe dewatering trench will be pumped into Boulder Creek under <br /> NPDES permit CO-0035751. <br /> Size of Areas -- Phasing -- Disturbances <br /> Mining will follow the sequence described above.
