General Requirements.

(1) Colorado Westmoreland Inc. requests the Division approve maps
of the permit area be at a scale of 1:12,000. Due to the size
of the permit area, CWI feels this map scale provides enough
detail in manageable format for review.
(2) Life of operation maps clearly depict lands and waters at a
scale of 1:12,000 or larger.
(3) Where appropriate, all maps depict lands and waters at a scale
of 1:12,000 or larger.
Permit and Adjacent Areas.
(1) Refer to Maps 2-4, 2-5, and 8A-8.

(b) CWI has not obtained a small operator's license.

2.10.3 Specific Information Requirements.
(1) (a) Map 9-2 depicts surface ownership on record at the Del-
ta County Recorder's Office. Map 9-5 deoicts mineral
ownership and Federal lease numbers.
(b) Maps 9-2 and 9-5 depict Colorado Westmoreland Inc .'s
legal rights to enter and conduct surface and under-
ground activities.
(c) The boundaries of life-of-mine surface Facilities are
shown on Pfap 8A-8. Map 2-5 depicts long-term mine pro-
jections which will be submitted as permit renewals in
five-year segments (refer to Map 2-5). Colorado 4?est-
moreland Inc. is submitting environmental baseline data
for the entire life-of-mine permit area. Variations or
deviations from the five-year term permit area, neces-
sitated by market or mining conditions, will be ap-
proved by the Division's permit revision process.
