I just got copies of this map yesterday.
Unfortunately there are no permit boundaries on these maps yet or much
of anything else other than topography and labeling in accordance with
what Analytical Surveys thought particular features represented. There
may be some errors in their interpretation of what particular features
actually are, but Leigh Whitehead & Associates and I believe the
topographic display is quite accurate. If there are any errors they are
very minor and would have no impact on what you or I need to do. We
have not found anything that appears to be grossly in error. Analytical
Surveys' computerized mapping system is considered one of the best and
most accurate available.
I have provided you with an unfolded copy. I know how much of a pain it
can be to take accurate measurements off of a map that has been folded
up. It help should make your analysis easier.
Please keep track of everything you include in your analysis, including
the various features you measure on the map. Transit Mix may want to
review what you come up with, especially if it seems larger than they
think it should be. Of course, I am sure you normally keep careful
records of what you do anyway; Frank Johnson seems to be a real stickler
for detail. But, to protect my clients rights, I am aura you understand
that I have to insist that you be able to justify any figures you come
up with and explain how you derived them.
Thank you.
Respenc-tf~ujlly/,J~ ~j
Mark A.
