iii iiniiiiuiuiii
999
Doc Date:12/11/2001
~~ P~° ~ ~ 3
Page 3
• Mr. Tom Pike
:March 14, 1980
•
The Ford, Bacon and Davis Proposal is fairly idealized and not exact in tha
sense of showing where the slurry caill be placed and in what sequence. Tne
contingency plan for dewatering the slurry filled areas in the event the s;~:-p
cannot be constructed and utilized has not been presented either. The slurry
delivery system from the k'ash Plant to the vest mine should be provided.
Finally, there should be some clarification about the relationship between the
east mine sumps connected with the sediment control system for the east mine
bench and the early practice of disposing slurry in the west mine.
Sincerely,
C~~~
David $olm
DH/co
•
