<br />EXHIBIT "C" <br />CREEKS, ROADS, ETC. <br />WITHIN 200 FEET OF <br />PERMITTED AREA <br />West Tennessee Creek is the only perennial stream near the <br />permitted area as indicated on the enclosed map. There is no direct <br />contact between the disturbed area and the creek itself. Present <br />and past observations indicate that the creek has not deteriorated <br />from the nearby mining. <br />There are two habitable buildings within 200 feet of the permitted <br />or affected area both owned by the applicant. (See map) <br />The haul road is indicated on the map. This haul road will <br />continue to be used for commercial purposes and will possibly be <br />upgraded to handle the increased traffic due to the requests of <br />the Forest Service and also local inhabitants. This road is the <br />Forest Service access to the site in question and will continue as <br />such after mining ceases.. Within the site there are numerous tempor- <br />ary roads which are shown on the map. The Forest Service road extends <br />through the area continuing in a southerly direction. <br />The type of present vegetation in the affected land is pine <br />trees and also grasses along the creek, Vegetation will be covered <br />in greater detail in the reclamation section. <br />Summary of adjacent owners. <br />1.
