Location/Access: From the Twentymile Coal Company mine, follow Highway 131 northwest for 5'/, <br />miles to a gated, graded dirt road located on the left side of the highway. Turn left and drive <br />through the gate, then drive another 0.2 mile and park on the side of the road. The site is located <br />400 feet south and across the drainage from this point. <br />III. Soil description (character and color): The soil is a light orange brown silty sand with a brown lens <br />of silty sand, probably an old A horizon, located near the center of the site and exposed by the dissection <br />action of the water. Below this layer, the soil is the same color and character as the surface soil. <br />26.
