Albeit that you were unable to view that <br />pit. I recollect that Mark Heftner did examine thc~ pit <br />and take pictures thereof some time ago. Possibly he <br />still remembers the pit. <br />Acreage. After the submission of the application, <br />it became apparent that we could not include all ttie <br />affected area, i.e. haul rands, stock pile areas, within <br />the five acres. Hence, cae submitted a legal description <br />of 7.64 acres which expressly superseded the previously <br />given description. See my letter of transmittal ducted <br />October 10, 1978, and Exhibit A. The notices similarly <br />reflect the 7.64 acres. I have instructed my client to <br />transmit the additional $30.00 to cover the applic~ction <br />costs for the added acreage. <br />Unincluded Acres. This is a very old pit and the <br />area not inc ude in the application was mined prior to <br />the applicability of land reclamation requirements to <br />sand and gravel pits. <br />Highwall. The maximum height of the highwall, the <br />highest point on the land to the lowest point will be <br />
