• MAINTENANCE PROGRAM <br />Limited maintenance of sedimentation ponds, diversion ditches, and <br />culverts will be required during the intended life of these structures <br />to insure that they continue to function as designed and to minimize any <br />potential downstream hazards or environmental impacts. <br />Ponds and associated embankments. inlet and drainage structures, <br />spillways and monitoring facilities will be inspected a minimum of four <br />(4) times per year. Inspections will focus on any indications of <br />structural weakness or erosion, and repairs will be made as necessary. <br />Accumulated sediment will be periodically removed from the sedimentation <br />ponds to maintain adequate storage capacities. <br />Diversion ditches, pond <br />be cleaned and repaired <br />will remove debris from <br />any significant erosion <br />pond areas will be ci <br />repairs. <br />inlets, and spillways may periodically need to <br />to insure that they operate as designed.
