The equipment used in the mining process will <br />also be used for reclamation operations along with the <br />ground shaping equipment and agricultural equipment <br />' used in the revegetation process. <br />When the gravel arrives at the plant site, it will be loaded <br />directly into the processing plant or stockpiled to dry or to await <br />' processing. The plant is comprised of several separate screens, <br />conveyors, crushers, storage bins, and washing devices that are <br />used singly or more often in combination to process the ten to <br /> twenty different products normally used by customers, as well as <br /> custom products needed to meet special requirements. Water is <br /> used to clean all washed gravel products. The water is settled <br /> at the site and recycled for future washings rather than being <br /> release d from the plant a rea. <br />The entire process from initial topsoil removal to final reclamation <br />and delivery of finished products involves moving large quantities <br />of materials in an efficient, non-disruptive manner. Pre-planning <br />and conscientious attention to detail are essential to bring the <br />gravel products to the consumer at a price he can afford and with <br />minimum social cost to the community. <br />RECLAMATION PROCEDURES <br />Our company's reclamation of mined lands will provide a basic <br />level of rehabilitation. This will include grading, drain- <br />age, grass seeding, and the planting of limited numbers of <br />trees and shrubs. Any improvements above this basic level <br />B-3 <br />
