application item number, a period and the number of the attachment for that item (as an example, <br />the first attached document providing evidence in support of the answer given at application item <br />number 22 would be marked -Exhibit 22.1, the fifth attached document supporting the narrative <br />provided for application item 22 would be marked -Exhibit 22.5). <br />An additional review fee of one-hundred dollars ($100.00) will be charged to the applicant, if all <br />deficiencies as per the initial D & C Letter are not adequately addressed or provided. Each <br />subsequent D & C Letter, based on resubmitted items, will result in another one-hundred dollar <br />($100.00) review fee. All such fees shall be paid along with the deficiency submittal, prior to any <br />further review of the application. <br />If the application is approved by the Board with contingencies and the contingencies can not be met <br />within the specified time frame (normally 6 months), an additional fee of one-hundred dollars <br />($100.00) will be charged to the applicant for each request for extension of the contingency <br />deadline. All such fees shall be paid along with a written request, explaining the need for extension, <br />prior to being placed on a Board meeting agenda for consideration of the request. <br />In approving an application for Conditional Use Permit, the Board may require higher standards <br />for site development that listed for such use in the Zoning Resolution. <br />The Department, The Commission and / or The Board may require additional information at any <br />time during the application process as may be deemed necessary in order to review the application <br />adequately, to determine if the application is in compliance with all applicable regulations and <br />make an informed decision with regard to recommendations, approval or disapproval of the <br />application. <br />5. Provide a detailed statement describing the proposed operation. Describe the operation as to what it <br />will be at its start and at full capacity, the general types and numbers of equipment, the number of <br />employees, the number of employee shifts and all other pertinent operational information. The more <br />information provided, the easier it will be for the Department, the Commission, the Board and the <br />Public to understand and review the request. <br />The proposed operation would consist ofmining and processing construction material~rom multiple <br />pits on private lands. Commodities to be mined will be limestone. Qt•anite. sandstone, and decorative <br />rock. Blasting will NOT be required. Typical equipment to be used to mine and process aggregate. <br />This Equipment typically includes a bulldozer front end loader crushing, screening and conveying <br />equipment which is generally considered as a processing unit, and trucks for transport. This same <br />type of equipment can be found on most of the 56 active construction material-mines in Fremont <br />county current~ermitted with the Colorado Division of Minerals and GeologY(DMG). Material will <br />not be transported to the site for processing Material will be mined at the site and processed there. <br />On rare occasions, n:iazinu mzd proceesingcould accur•~or :~ to 2~1 hours/day for up to seven days a <br />week, but will ocezo• intermittently during the yecar as market demands.
