~. <br />.- <br />Reclamation Recommendations <br />Broyles Gravel Pit <br />All available top soil will be stock piled during <br />excavation. Upon completion of the mining operations all <br />slopes will be shaped and graded. Finished slopes shall be <br />4:1 or flatter. <br />Top soil will be spread over the entire mined area to a <br />depth of not less than 4 inches or greater than 12 inches. <br />Upon completion of top soiling the entire area will be <br />seeded to a cover crop of oats. Oats will be seeded at a <br />rate of 25 to 30 bulk pounds per acre. The cover crop will <br />be seeded prior to May 1st. The cover crop will not be <br />mechanically harvested or grazed. <br />The attached seeding mixture will be drilled into the <br />standing cover crop during November. <br />The entire area will be excluded from grazing until the <br />seeding is fully established. If necessary the area will be <br />fenced. <br />Noxious weeds shall be controlled by mechanical or chemical <br />methods. <br />Excessive runoff from the site <br />dikes, containment reservoirs <br />required. <br />shall be controlled using <br />and drainage culverts as <br />FILECODE:RECLAMCAST <br />
