Our home {18984 Ward
Creek Road} is directly adjacent to the property owned by Mr. Joe Beldon. As you
know, Mr. Beldon's property is directly across from the proposed Benson quarry.
As indicated on the enclosed letters, I developed a serious, non- reversible lung
condition from a reaction to the drug Premarin. My husband and I thought it best for
us to relocate to an area free from dust and pollution in order to prevent further
complications. After a through search, we found the air quality in the Coiby Canyon
area to be a prime location. We then purchased our retirement home.
My husband and I are extremely concerned about the dust and air pollution that
would be created by the operation of the quarry. We believe it would be extremely
detrimental to my physical health and would force us out of our home.
My husband and I are in our 70's and would have to sell and move to another
location. At this time of our lives this option is simply inconceivable.
We request the permit to operate this quarry be DENIED!
T//htank you, n //11 ''
`v~~ c~.--~ ~n Gtr
r~01i Couan Lundberg -~ Q
18984 Ward Creek Road
Cedaredge, Co. 81413
(970) 856-7527
